KABAYAN CUP 3 UPDATE
Following are guidelines for the Kabayan Cup 3 Basketball League as approved by the Commission:
- GROUND RULES.
*Details for the Ground Rules will be posted on the next update.
- GAME FORMAT.
*Junior Div.: Regular Season (14 Teams) --> Play-off (Top 8) --> Semi-Final (Remaining 4) -->Finals.
Senior Div.: Regular Season (10 Teams) --> Play-off (Top 8) --> Semi-Final (Remaining 4) -->Finals.
*Details for the game format will be posted on this page soon.
- COMMISSION.
*Mr. Roel “Caloy” Magtibay (2032531691) – Spokesperson of the Commission, Uniform/Jersey Coordinator, and sponsorship asst. coordinator. Any questions or clarification regarding the league, please contact him.
*Mr. Nerio Pequeno (2035503915) – Roster and Waiver Coordinator. Submit your entry list with individual waiver to Mr. Pequeno.
*Mr. Marcelito “Lolong” Serojales (2039438132) – Overall Chairman and Insurance Coordinator.
*Mr. Eddie Manongsong (2035504473) – Sponsorship Coordinator.
- GAME VENUE.
*Most of the games will be held in Easter Civic Center, Greenwich, CT.
*Some of the games will be in other GYM. Information will be given later.
- GAME DATES.
*JANUARY 22, 2011, SATURDAY 4:30 PM - Official Opening Date.
*All game schedule will be posted on this page (www.Falconn.com) before the opening.
- TEAMS AND DIVISION.
*14 Confirmed teams for Junior Division.
*10 confirmed teams for Senior Division.
*3 confirmed teams for Women’s Division. Women’s opening date will commence on the play-off date of Junior and Senior Division. Due to the insufficient number of teams, the commission decided to postpone the opening of Women’s Division.
- REGISTRATION PERIOD.
*Registration of Team Players and Individual Player ‘s Notarized Waivers must start on December 6, 2010 until January 08, 2010. There is no extension. Failure to submit waiver’s of each individual must be subject to removal of the player/players from their team. (Stricter Rules is being imposed).
*Rosters and Waivers (Hard Copy) must be submitted to Mr. Nerio Pequeno, Phone # 2035503915.
*Mr. Mark Furio (9145140870) is in-charge of te Collection for Registration Fee and Game Fee.
- INSURANCE.
*All Players are required to have injury or health insurance. This is mandatory. Falconn requires proof of coverage for those who have their own health/injury insurance coverage.
*Falconn will assist “only” in getting the insurance if some players need coverage. Team must submit the list of players who wants to get injury insurance coverage.
- PRIZES.
*For Champions ( Senior and Junior Division)

*For 1st Runner-up (Senior and Junior Division)
-1 Trophy
-1 lechon
*For 2nd Runner-up (Senior and Junior Division)

- BENEFIT FOR TEAMS.
*Team Fund. Falconn will share 30% of the total donation raised from spectators admission to the Team’s Fund.
*30% will be given to the Team for every sponsor endorsed by the Team.
*Details will be discussed during the meeting.
- BANNER.
*Team is allowed to have banner for their team with their sponsor’s name provided that the size or dimension is not more that 4’ x 3’.
- PRE-GAME / SCRIMMAGE.
*JANUARY 8, 2011, SATURDAY 5:00PM -10PM AT EASTERN CIVIC CENTER. All teams are requested to attend. Meeting or briefing with the team managers, coaches, team captain or team representatives/coordinators will also be done.

WOMEN (IF THERE ARE 4 OR MORE TEAMS, 12 MINIMUM -15 MAXIMUM PLAYERS PER TEAM )
UNIFORM & FEE:
JERSEY (FRONT / BACK) MUST HAVE FALCONN LOGO ON THE LEFT SIDE (HEART SIDE) AND LAST NAME WITH NUMBER ON THE BACK
ONE TIME REGISTRATION FEE OF $ 150.00 AND $100.00 GAME FEE PER GAME.
